Disclaimer: I received an entry into the 2022 Hot Chocolate Atlanta Race to evaluate as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to find and write race reviews.
I will be adding another year to my legacy status at the Hot Chocolate ATL Race on Feb 6, 2022. I am close to the 10 year legacy mark (next year will be year 8) and I am excited to return to the in-person race. I am representing BibRave for the race, but I am also a bit sad that I will not return as the sweeper pacer.
Next year, I plan to use the race as my first indicator race for my sub 2 hr half marathon project. I started training today (11/14) and I will use the Hot Chocolate Race to determine if I can run the necessary goal pace (9:05 min/mile) for 15k with a finishing time of 1:24:40.
