We made it! After 12 weeks of early morning runs in Atlanta's heat and humidity, we are done. I am proud to say that I had perfect attendance this summer as a run lead in my favorite training spot, Fleet Feet Decatur. We have not trained out of this location since summer 2019. Before the pandemic, it was decided that training would start from Armour and the satellite locations would be discontinued. This never happened and I am grateful that we are back in my little town.
As of right now we have 3 days until race day. Best wishes to all the participants and thanks to Fleet Feet Decatur for being an amazing host on Saturdays. Let's do this! Stay cool everybody.
