Taking it to KY: 2022 Urban Bourbon Half Marathon

This year I will be hitting the road and heading to Kentucky for this year's Urban Bourbon Half Marathon on October 8. I haven't traveled to a new state for a race in 3 years so I am super excited to add another one to my 50 states journey. I haven't been to Louisville in a while, so I am ready for sightseeing and enjoying the local cuisine.

Race Highlights

The race is unique in that you have to be 21 by race day. The race weekend is a celebration of all thing bourbon and offers many opportunities to experience it. While I do not drink, I am up for trying a bourbon and one of themed meals. I am also planning to see how close I can run a sub 2 hour race. It should be a fun weekend.
